Really, Chuck?

Sen. Charles "I'll defend the 4th amendment when politically expedient" Schumer

“OnStar is attempting one of the most brazen invasions of privacy in recent memory.” – Senator Charles Schumer, D-NY

Really Chuck? Are you saying that your memory does not extend back to the implementation of the mandatory, invasive, all-revealing BODY SCANS that you and your cronies mandated the TSA do to babies, old ladies, or anyone TSA agents find attractive? You can’t remember the imposition of “anything goes” pat-downs you and your cronies made SOP for anyone not willing to allow you folks to put the air industry out of business by your efforts to make it too uncomfortable for most law-abiding Americans to fly?

Unfortunately, Chuck, the rest of us consider that to be in recent memory, and your contrived outrage pales in comparison. Yes, OnStar should not be availing themselves of the Big Brother capabilities of OnStar without customer consent – but I think the senator doth protest too much. Frankly, based on recent congressional forays into our privacy, I think you’re just jealous…
